Salutations!
My name is Emerald! Welcome to my site where I post stories and poems I've written.

I am a born and raised Wisconsinite and I can't imagine living anywhere else (even though I detest snow). I enjoy biking, running, movie marathons, naps, summer, and obviously reading and writing. I started writing poems and short stories (including some really cheesy fan fiction) when I was in middle school and have since then worked towards expanding my writing abilities.
I have always dreamed of being recognized for my writing and maybe even get published, but I have learned that as long as one person keeps reading, I have a reason to keep writing and improving my skills.
I consider myself a pretty big nerd; superheroes, anime, video games, involved in more fandoms than I can count, and storing random facts about music and movies into my brain. I love all sorts of different media genres such as sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and comedy. You'll find me jamming out to a wide variety of music from K-pop to metal to hip hop.
I find it exciting to incorporate pieces of my favorite genres into my writings. I want to tell stories that I personally would find fun to read.
